Located on the corner of Al Souq, in the bustling neighborhood of Bur Dubai, the Subharambha restaurant is probably the best and most authentic Nepali restaurant in Dubai. Opened in 2024 it has quickly become the talk of the town. If you haven’t had Nepali food before, you are in for a treat. On the menu is lots of traditional, delicious food like momo (veg/non-veg dumplings), chatpati (traditional veg snack), thali (a plate with assorted curries and rice), chola (specially cured, flavourful meat), all made with care and attention to the rich traditions of Nepal. It is very tasty and a new experience if you haven’t enjoyed it before and Subharambha serves the best. No pizza, no burgers, no steaks, just delicious Nepali food. If you like spicy food with lots of green chili, this is the place but if you order “normal” it will not burn you. And don’t worry, the friendly staff will help you and recommend from the menu. It is a smaller (50 seater) restaurant and a perfect place to interact with the locals as it is their favourite place to have lunch and/or dinner.
